Customization

There are tons of fitness apps out there that will give you a set workout to do.  But what happens when the workout for today includes weightlifting and crunches but you’re in the mood to go for a run? Sure, you could open up your running app to track progress but who wants to juggle between multiple apps.

By using Peak Pursuit, you’re able to choose from a wide range of activities on a daily basis so there will always be something for you. The best part is, all the items are customizable.  If there is an exercise or health item you don’t see on the list, simply add it.  If you want to customize one of the existing items, it’s quick and easy.

Giving you the ability to create and customize workouts and health plans that fit your lifestyle is at the heart of what Peak Pursuit is all about.  This allows for a one stop shop and ensures you’ll always be motivated to push harder.

 Points Based System

Tracking workouts can be tedious. Especially when you like to switch things up from day to day.  It can be tough to quantify output when switching from running to biking to weightlifting to body weight exercises.

We have developed a system that awards points based on each type of workout.  Using this system, you can do whatever workout you’re feeling that day and easily track your progress.

Our innovative ‘streak’ system encourages you to keep up on health items for multiple days in a row, increasing their effectiveness and getting you quicker results.

Competition Setting

While the word ‘competition’ can be a bit intimidating at first, you’ll quickly realize the benefits of sharing and tracking results with a group of friends or family.

Firstly, this setting breeds friendly competition.  Even if you don’t fancy yourself a competitive person, you will want to see yourself at the top of the leaderboard.

This setting ups the accountability factor to the max.  Everyone knows it’s much easier to go to the gym everyday when you have a partner to go with.  When your partner texts you the night before saying they aren’t going to make it, you’ll think to yourself ‘eh, I can miss a day as well’.

With Peak Pursuit, you always have workout buddies because you can see what everyone is doing on a daily basis.  If you decide to take a couple days off, you can see that others in your group are still pushing hard and it will encourage you to keep up with your workouts and healthy lifestyle.

The competitions are month long and all points reset at the beginning of each month.  Prior to the start of each month.

Side Quests

These are 'mini games' within the overall monthly competition.  They are a throwback to the original one week long push up competition that started this journey.  You can create a Side Quest and challenge a few, or all, members of the group to a challenge.  See who can run the most miles in a week.  Set the Side Quest as a race to 100 miles biked and see who gets there first.

Track Your Progress

We have developed tools within Peak Pursuit to help you track your progress.

You can see each individual day within the current month.  This will show you how well you are keeping up with each item.  You can see your point total for each day so it’s easy to see if you’ve been slacking for a few days and you need to go hard to make up for it.

Prior months’ competitions are easy viewable.  You can see your totals for each category and use these as a guide to ensure you’re making progress.  For example, you can see that you ran 20 miles last month and set a goal to run 25 miles this month.

For all of the information you can see about yourself, you can see the same info about all other competitors.  This allows you to see how other users go about their workouts and can help tailor your workout for maximum benefit.
